YOUR BUILDING JOURNEY

The building process can be a long and arduous one. After your first meeting with Penbuild Developments, there is quite a lot to get through before we can even begin. This process can take anywhere from three to twelve months! At Penbuild, we pride ourselves in supporting our clients from start to finish.
Where are you in your building journey?

I HAVE AN IDEA

You have an idea about new build or extension to an existing dwelling. We can guide you through the whole process.

We love dealing with clients from this early stage as it allows us to really steer the whole process from the beginning to facilitate a seamless project.

I HAVE CONCEPT DRAWINGS

Great! This will allow us to direct you towards making the best design decisions to suit your needs and budget. We can recommend an architect or draftsperson if needed.

I HAVE SEEN AN ARCHITECT AND I HAVE ENGINEERING DRAWINGS

From here we can get right into the details of providing an accurate quote for your project and working alongside your design team.

I HAVE A PLANNING PERMIT

Even better, you’re well on your way. When a planning permit is needed it is sometimes the biggest hurdle and most time consuming part of the preliminary stage.

I HAVE A BUILDING PERMIT

At this point I have received a checklist from my building surveyor and the only outstanding item is our nominated builder and building contract.

I AM READY TO START

Contracts have been signed and start date set. Each job is unique and there may be some arrangements that need to be made before the start date. Eg. you may need to find alternative accommodation or empty out the old garden shed before it’s demolished. You’re getting excited!
